“Here's the door to Trump's prison cell, see? And these are oversized novelty criminal charges. That's theft of classified documents, that's criminal conspiracy, and this cute little cuddle-bug is Seditious conspiracy. Here's what happens when they all try to get through the door at once. We call it ‘Three Stooges Syndrome.’”
I have a fever but no other symptoms so I guess my body has decided I’m too hot to function

Carolyn Bryant, the woman who got Emmet Till lynched, has died.

Anyone who thinks Emmett Till being lynched in 1955 is ancient history should remember that 18 current members of Congress are older than him and the white woman Carolyn Bryant who got him lynched just *today* died—and that without any accountability whatsoever.

In short, this systemic racism and racial terror against Black people is not ancient history. It's not even history.

It's contemporary reality.

Once again, a reminder for those of you who scream about "e-begging":

None of us want to constantly solicit for funds, and in a society that actually cared enough for people to pay them livable wages if they work or provide enough to meet their needs if they can't work due to disability or age, there would be no need for #MutualAid.

This society, however, sometimes leaves us no other choice when all other avenues are closed off.

You don't have to like it or even donate, but respect it.

“It’s just like a bad cold” that if you get it twice, kills you in your sleep. No big.

I love the shorter work week idea, but I can’t pay attention for eight hours!! I would love to work five six-hour days.
you can't tell me that we aren't being gaslighted when society is telling us that we should be fine with just fucking dying

This is the EXACT kind of shit we have been warning you about. "A.I." tools trained on data filled with asaumptions and prejudices about marginalized people and then being deployed in situations with literal life-&-death implications for the people involved. In this case, diaabled parents being more likely to be flagged as "unfit."

This is utter nightmare shit.

Not magic: Opaque AI tool may flag parents with disabilities

PITTSBURGH (AP) — For the two weeks that the Hackneys’ baby girl lay in a Pittsburgh hospital bed weak from dehydration, her parents rarely left her side, sometimes sleeping on the fold-out sofa in the room.
