At this point, I truly wonder why anybody would seek employment in the game industry (and many other tech sectors as well). I’d completely written off most of that throughout the years when I was trying to re-train in a different field.

So this explains a lot. I’ve noticed that nearly every one of my most visited sites (mainly e-commerce, university, and tech-related) have seemed far slower than ever before…no matter what kind of device, connection, or location I use.

It’s actually getting quite irritating when I’ve been used to a certain speed experience prior.

It is. They’re being pedantic. It’s a complete made up term within the last few years to describe anything getting shittier for the benefit of shareholders. Applying it to a specific thing and saying it can’t be used to describe what this article is talking about is silly.

It’s not a difficult concept. Conservatives only want money and power. So, religion everybody to death and kill education…specifically science. They require an uneducated population. See MAGA as an example.

Wow, you just can’t make this stuff up. The divide between the dumbest of Americans and normal/intelligent people couldn’t be wider right now.

Taking it up with our governments is fruitless as well. The days of governments actually giving a shit about what we want are over. Of you’re not flush with cash, your voice can and will be overridden at the drop of a hat.
