As long as money is required for survival, jobs will be flooded with people who are barely skilled enough to not get fired in order to continue surviving.
I think about this every day.
I think about the quality of a world that builds and sustains.
Do me a favor and sit and think about this for a few minutes.
The solution, the only solution, is to remove money as a requirement for survival.
The only solution is to allow some people to not work when they don't feel like working.
The only solution is to help educate our fellow humans so that they can find work they love enough to be truly competent at.
The only solution is to remove all of the jobs we have created to allow people to trade their lackluster skills and time for money so they can survive.
Think for a moment about the tremendous waste this generates. The oil burned. The wear on the roads. The consumption of trees for paper and water and chemicals to bleach that paper. The lives lost in mines to make the computers and everything else.
We can have luxury without sacrifice.
Think for a moment about all of the bullshit generated that wastes time and causes confusion, just because somebody 'needs' to 'be able' to toil for 60 hours or more a week in order to survive.
How am I in the minority with all this thought? If you're nodding along, how are we? How can we work together to change things?
