Is it a bit weird for the guy at my local Vietnamese place (where I’m a regular) to say “have a good night brother” when he’s not black, nor do I appear to be particularly religious?
Also while we’re talking about stupid things the removal of E2E encrypted messages on Instagram is patently ridiculous. Their reasoning was “low uptake due to opt-in nature”, which seems insane to me, doubly so because this is the same company that auto opted-in everyone to E2E encrypted messaging for Facebook Messenger? Like WTF? Just do the same for Insta and get some positive press for a change?
Words I actually said today: “What’s the manosphere? Is it like, a sphere of men?” Because honestly I would much rather be ignorant than be involved in whatever rubbish that is.
@decryption I think the incidence of SAS vs SATA hard drives, when we’re talking about your target market, surely has to be at least 90% SATA? Every nerd has used a SATA hard drive and might even have an enclosure, basically no one uses SAS in the consumer space…
@vaempyr brand new services might take a little while longer.
@vaempyr should be basically instant. I know with SIMs sometimes your phone needed an actual reboot instead of just toggling airplane mode.
It’s not that I hate Brisbane weather or anything, Brisbane weather is great six months out of the year. But on days like this, when it’s 99% humidity and 28° at 8am, it really makes me think about moving elsewhere.
