That album peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard 200 while topping the Top Contemporary Jazz Albums chart. Why is Basia so overlooked outside her fan/genre base these days? “Cruising for Bruising” reached No. 29 on the Hot 100. That is a genuine hit record!
