@jsnell If there were any sports categories, you should have smoked your competitors!
@jsnell Congrats! That is so cool!
@sixcolors It will be interesting to see how Apple addresses the potential privacy issues with having the AI chatbot run on Google servers.
@jsnell Thanks. For my home needs, don’t really need much AI. It’s mostly simple spreadsheets and documents. Haven’t had to do a Keynote in years.
@jsnell If I’m going to have to pay for the iWorks apps, I might as well just subscribe to Office, which most of the world uses. I like having the iWorks apps for home use, but I’m not going to pay for them.

@sixcolors I saw this on Cult of Mac. The way I read it, if you’re already subscribing to Apple TV, you get all of Apple’s F1 programming AND F1 TV Premium.

“There’s no additional fee or subscription required — just the standard $12.99 per month Apple TV subscription. F1 TV Premium, F1’s own premier content offering, will continue to be available in the U.S. via an Apple TV subscription only. It will be free for those who subscribe to Apple TV.”

Doesn’t make sense to me.

@sixcolors I think the only way F1 on Apple works is if they somehow get F1TV blocked in the US, or if their subscription price is substantially lower than F1TV.
@sixcolors Wearing my Ultra at night, I found out that my heart rate sometimes drops below 40 beats per minute. My cardiologist isn’t concerned. Still, it’s good to know.
@jsnell I started wearing my Apple Watch to sleep when I jumped from the series 4 to the first Ultra. Like you, I love the silent wrist taps to wake up. One thing I did learn from wearing it over night is my heart rate sometimes gets really low, dropping below 40 BPM. Some mornings, it shows it happened multiple times overnight. Other mornings, it shows it didn’t happen, or was only once or twice. My PCP is concerned, but my cardiologist isn’t. I’m trusting the heart doc.
@leo @gare Article 1, Section 9, Clause 7 of the Constitution says “No money shall be drawn from the treasury, but in consequence of appropriations made by law; and a regular statement and account of the receipts and expenditures of all public money shall be published from time to time.” Musk is essentially publishing the list of expenditures for various agencies and those agencies don’t like it because some of these expenditures are indefensible.
