For the past few years, I've been using a custom #xojo app to publish my website (utilware.com) from markdown files. Started playing with Obsidian Publish recently, and with a few CSS tweaks, I'm seriously considering switching.

Why does Google Drive take so incredibly long to zip before downloading? I have a folder of 645 .rtf files, and it takes 10~15 seconds for Google to zip them. MacOS takes <1 sec for both zipping and unzipping.
Best mental health boost this week: Unchecking "show inline predictive text" in Settings under Sonoma. Nothing wrecks my train of thought more than the computer trying to guess what I'm going to say next. It's like when you're talking with someone who is always finishing your sentences, but incorrectly.

I put it in repair mode before dropping it off, and back into normal mode when picking it up. All my data is there, just as it was this morning. Slick.
Holy moly. Took the Fold4 in for a warranty repair on the hinge, and got back effectively a new phone. New hinge, inner screen and protector, frame, and batteries. Very happy at the moment.
I love SyncThing for keeping files in sync between my Android phone and macOS desktop. Now I'm wondering if anyone has ported it to classic Mac (MacOS 7.x, for instance).
