Everclear was probably one of the most underrated bands of the nineties.
I wonder if the police are regretting training an entire generation on how to barricade classroom doors against violent intruders.

@gooba42 It is the second one. I'm 100% convinced of that. The Russian thing is never an active thing.

It's even made me believe that the Trump Russian collusion story is weirder than it's been reported. I'm starting to think they backed him as a way to stick a wrench in the gears, but he misunderstood and started acting as if they were allies through pure gullibility.

I even think they got weirded out by how willing Trump was to do business with them and tried to pull the plug.

@[email protected] I thought pre-millenial dispensationalists believe they will be raptured before the tribulations, thus being taken to heaven without actually having to die. That, to me, seems like the selling point. They get to go to heaven, but not actually die. That's the selling point, more than coming back after the peace.
We need a word for real-life enshittification caused by online culture. Like being unable to find an organisation’s info because they’ve Instagram but no website. Or panicked people being sent a videolink to download to their phone when they ring for an ambulance. Or being excluded from residents' association news if you're not on Facebook. Or having cash payment refused. Or staff in the business you’re physically standing in telling you to find the answer to your question on their website.
How many times does Jill Stein have to be the Green Party presidential candidate before what is nominally an international political movement looks like a vanity project?
@[email protected] The plan isn't for Jesus to make it better. They don't care about the world. They want the world to end so Jesus can take them to heaven without having to die first.
