@angel_val So what you do is play the long game and wait for a bigger studio to use it as their engine. When they inevitably shaft their player base w/ microtransactions or some bs, you pull the rug out from under them and force the game into FOSS territory upon which point the community takes over development and the shareholders cry themselves to sleep!! :)

Can confirm I'm one of those folks.

I'm curious if other kbin will see a similar increase, although since we're federated with Lemmy it doesn't really matter as much to me so long as the Fediverse is gaining traction which is hopefully what is happening here after the Reddit fallout.
