Der Streit um die Umbenennung der Mohrenstraße in Berlin-Mitte ist beendet.
Das Oberverwaltungsgericht bestätigte die Entscheidung, den rassistisch belasteten Namen zu ändern. Künftig heißt sie Anton-Wilhelm-Amo-Straße - benannt nach dem ersten bekannten afrikanischen (genauer gesagt aus Ghana) Philosophen in Deutschland.
