Long pentraxins (PTX3) are domains located in the extracellular regions of selected adhesion GPCRs. An octameric assembly of PTX3 was recently resolved by cryo-EM and AF (https://doi.org/10.1073/pnas.2208144119) and it is available in PDB 7ZL1.

GlcNAc-scanning confirms occupancy of all N-glycosylation sites. Accordingly we restored the glycoprotein in 'one-shot' by selecting an FA2G2S2 form, in line with the glycoproteomics profile.

Maynooth University (MU), Co. Kildare, Ireland, may be small, but it has something no other universities in Ireland have, a Library Cat. MU Library Cat, some call him Séamus, others Paddy, has heaps of adoring fans among students and staff who stop every day to pet him and donate food into his pantry. He stands to let people through the gates standing on a pillar across from the Library, right beside a little house that was built for him. He is the campus' legend and custodian. #caturday #cats
