@marcoarment @rawrdimus Unsurprisingly the transcription never seems to finish on my 14 hour long audio books but maybe that will come with time? It just sits on this screen seemingly forever
@viticci happened to me, restored my iPhone 17 Pro from a backup and then all of the old ones reappeared so I then had duplicates to deal with

@caseyliss I believe that is true, they’re oddly limited in some ways. But they’re a good operator and while far from perfect they’re responsive and helpful in chat support

@atpfm @caseyliss I’ve now got two lines for the price of my last one at T-Mobile, and I’ve gotten my parents and grandmother to move to it. They don’t pay for your phone so they can offer much cheaper plans. And if you don’t buy your phone through your carrier or only buy one every 3-4 years it’s cheaper to use an MNVO like US Mobile.

Plus their part of Verizon didn’t go down when Verizon proper had an outage lol

@atpfm Listening to @caseyliss talk about how expensive his phone service is I wanted it share US Mobile https://www.usmobile.com/plans as it provides great service through all three of the major networks at 50% or less of the carriers themselves. They have to used different names for legal reasons of course. But I pay the equivalent of $33 per month for unlimited high speed data (for real), 50GB of high speed tethering. I highly recommend it.

Lightspeed = T-Mobile
Dark Star = Verizon
Warp = AT&T

Prepaid Unlimited & Shared Data plans. From only $5/mo.

US Mobile's pay as you go phone plans come with custom and/or unlimited data, talk & text options, starting from $4/month. These prepaid plans are perfect for any user.

The Verge’s Elizabeth Lopatto in an absolute scorcher in which she minces no words: Since X’s users started using Grok to undress women and children using deepfake images, I have been waiting…

Happy Morning Gang!

Just thought I'd share that I remain very not into Apple actively supporting the destruction of democracy worldwide in exchange for a favorable regulatory environment.
