I have recently become a fan of BambuLabs TPU for AMS. It’s great for boxes and containers - good layer adhesion, rigid but not brittle. Great in applications when I might hit it. Just printed a key cap and it sounds and feels great.
I recently printed a container with TPU for AMS, and I was really pleased with the results. 6 walls and very little infill gave a nice rigidity without hardness of the other plastics. Nice for something that’s gonna be carried and tossed around. I need to increase my use of TPU
Snuck in a second @3dprinting project this week. Trash bag clip for my kayak, so those broken lures and snack wrappers get contained and tidy. Can’t wait to get fishing

Life has been busy, so I've had few @3dprinting projects this winter. But today I finished one that's been "almost done" for a while. Airflow lift & controller stand for my Xbox Series X.

If you’re gonna 3D print your own spools in PLA, don’t throw them in the filament dryer overnight. @3dprinting fail.
Another fishing related 3D print. I love the buzbe Colony 28T for terminal storage, but I needed 19 more 1x1s. I matched the bin top and it fits snug against the formed lid. When I turn the box upside down and shake, nothing shifts out of its bin.

Empty roooooow for my six hour flight, baby!
As I sat and dreamt of spring time, I whipped up a quick design for rigging a wacky worm when I get to fish again. A simple print that will cost me an order of magnitude less than the commercial version.

500 downloads at printables! That feels pretty good. Five-hundred lives improved a little bit. Cults3d, the other site I frequent is approaching 400. Definitely different profiles of use.
I've ended my thingiverse account due to site performance. I'm stepping away from thangs.com because I don't care for their monetization. I am considering focusing just on printables, because Cults3d is on some anti-AI mission I don't think I want to be a part of.

The hotel I’m staying at: we don’t understand why people are struggling with the wifi. The signal is fine.
Also the hotel: Please use our quiet work areas in a seating area surrounded by a metal cable grid.
