I have recently become a fan of BambuLabs TPU for AMS. It’s great for boxes and containers - good layer adhesion, rigid but not brittle. Great in applications when I might hit it. Just printed a key cap and it sounds and feels great.
I recently printed a container with TPU for AMS, and I was really pleased with the results. 6 walls and very little infill gave a nice rigidity without hardness of the other plastics. Nice for something that’s gonna be carried and tossed around. I need to increase my use of TPU
Snuck in a second @3dprinting project this week. Trash bag clip for my kayak, so those broken lures and snack wrappers get contained and tidy. Can’t wait to get fishing

Life has been busy, so I've had few @3dprinting projects this winter. But today I finished one that's been "almost done" for a while. Airflow lift & controller stand for my Xbox Series X.

Claude code is getting worse - more hesitant - as its work improves. "Can I read this file?" "Can I read line two of the file?" "Can I read line three of the file?" Somehow I either have to give it unbounded permissions to the whole system or have it ask to do every character change in its own code. Argh
If you’re gonna 3D print your own spools in PLA, don’t throw them in the filament dryer overnight. @3dprinting fail.
After Game of Thrones I swore I would not get into another incomplete book series, but then I read the Dungeon Crawler Carl series this past spring. It’s still going. And now I see ads for comics and kickstarters and rumors of TV and I’m like “I’m not getting another book, am I?”
@cults3d Ive had some strange usernames pulling strange files over the past couple days. Weird bot scraping? Happy to provide more info if you’re interested. It’s not harming me any I guess
Anyone here familiar with Carista? Any cautions? Anything else I should look at instead?

Once in a while I make a quick "throw-away" @3dprinting design to solve some problem at home. It tends to be a print-once and forget file for me, and I don't plan to share it. Then I remember when I didn't know how to design or have the tools, so I go ahead and share it.

Today I noticed that two of those have a surprising number of downloads. Part of me feels good about that, and part of me is embarrassed about how much filament those poor users are wasting on a lousy design!

Riser for Samsung TV by b1tshifter MakerWorld: Download Free 3D Models

Samsung 32" TV QN32Q60AA risers to lift the TV about 76mm (3") off the surface where it is set. We have a small TV on the dresser in our room that needed to be a few inches higher to be seen over my big feet. These risers fit the need. The TV legs set in the trough. This uses a fair bit a filament, but it's a single-time print for me and I wanted a sturdy platform. $7 in filament is better than $300 on a TV if it tips offPrint in PETG, on its side, no supportsGlue non-slip shelf liner to the bottom
