I came up with this joke when I was asleep, so forgive me if it's not very funny
Inspired by https://hackaday.io/project/186130-rain-barrel-pump I'm wondering if there could be a future where power is micro-decentralised down to the individual appliance - could PVs and batteries become so cheap they are easy to simply attach to every (outdoor) item separately? Energy costs and an interest in local #solarpower generation has me interested in learning much more...
Rain Barrel Pump

Rain barrels are a great way to reduce water uptake, particularly in times of drought or where rain is infrequent. But, getting that water to where it is needed may require work, especially if the need is higher than the barrel. This simple circuit combines a PV pulse charger with protection circuitry for the battery and a pump to efficiently get the water where it is needed. It uses widely available 12V/10W PV panels, 12V LFP or LA batteries, and dual 12V 800 LPH pumps. It can easily be scaled to support larger loads and/or add more advanced features like timed watering schedules.

Watched "River" (https://imdb.com/title/tt14222534/), at Finsbury Park Picturehouse. Phenomenal drone photography and a great score. Really a great spectacle in every direction!

It's also so cool to be able to walk right home from the cinema... 🍿

https://allrgb.com/ is an awesome concept: "create images with one pixel for every RGB color (16,777,216); not one color missing, and not one color twice". I love the variety that can be produced, and also that the conditions essentially force creations to have a significant #generative compontent.
allRGB

The objective of allRGB is simple: To create images with one pixel for every RGB color (16777216); not one color missing, and not one color twice.

I first put this together last November, but couldn't make it sound "together". Around Christmas Arturia gave away copies of their Tape MELLO-FI, which I used to give a more lo-fi vibe, and decided I like the sound. #dailies
