@Popehat Have you seen https://twitter.com/vincentlivings/status/1641068533684785153 ? Monster (the energy drink) threatening Monsters & Mortals (the game) because they use the word "Monster"...
Vincent Livings on Twitter

“2. Monster Energy's lawyers are coming after us right now, because @MonstersMortals has the word "Monsters" in it. They claim that our game is confusingly similar to their energy drink. Yep, that's really their claim. Rather than roll over, I'm going to fight them in court.”

Today is 404, which should be some kind of internet holiday.
I think everyone is sticking around mainly due to inertia, but I get so agitated by people whose stock in trade is still dunking on Elon on Twitter all day. At the end the day it only serves to prop Twitter up. The joke is absolutely and literally on you
That journalists continue to support Elon Musk should be astonishing. What's incredibly sad is that it's just what you expect at this point.

"If you are a subscriber to either Tweetbot or Twitterrific, I beseech you to decline these prorated refunds. It’s a couple of bucks for you, but in the aggregate, this amounts to an existential sum of *already booked revenue* for these two companies, both exemplars of the indie iOS and Mac community.

"Reinstall the app if you’ve already deleted it. Tap that ‘I Don’t Need a Refund’ button and feel good about it. We have a month. Spread the word.”

Tweetbot and Twitterrific Face the Cliff

There is something noble about two longtime rivals — competitors, yes, but with nothing but deep respect and camaraderie for each other — facing this terrible cliff together, with dignity and grace, considering their users first, as ever.

Twitter's For You page right now really is just Elon Musk and his replies to other accounts ... you could not write a funnier parody about a billionaire taking over a social. network
