Nah... It wasn't that bad. On the computer I had access to, the diskettes were 320kB. Yet a few years later, the first hard disk my dad's firm got was 5MB, so not that much bigger than diskettes, just faster and much larger (full height was something like 10cm, 4 inch, not the skinny ones in the picture, they came later)
