@gruber Apple would happily forego a year of Apple Wallet growth to avoid F1 appearing to be a failure. Doesn't matter if it's ¢1 on the dollar - these pennies are more important than those dollars.

@atpfm How stingy is the api for AR really? I know they prohibit eye tracking, but can the user enable camera access so the app can identify nearby objects?
I want Delicious Library AR that shows me where an object was when it got scanned, brings up a library entry when it sees a barcode, etc.
Is that remotely allowed? Or they are too worried Amazon will do it so it’s off the table.
