Good Saturday! Just got back from breakfast at Dot's Diner. I had blueberry cornbread French toast with bacon. Then we went to the flea market. No finds there. Have a great day all!
Hi all. It was a very good 4th. I chose to not dwell on the crap and just enjoy the day. Bruno and I went to the movies to see F1. It was predictable but fun. Lots of fast noisy cars and of course Brad Pitt! Var'r'r'r'r'room! We then went to Tom's to get hot dogs. I had my usual chili cheese dogs. Then we went to the college league baseball game to watch our local Seeplecats team play. After that was the fireworks. So it was a very fun day.
Good morning on this chilly and gloomy Saturday. I'm trying to muster up some energy but I'm not too successful at the moment. We're going to see John Batiste tonight at Tanglewood so i'm very excited about that. Have a great day all!

It’s DeafBlind Awareness Week—a time to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of individuals who are DeafBlind. Led by the Helen Keller National Center, the week shines a spotlight on the experiences, contributions, and capabilities of people with combined hearing and vision loss.

Hi all. It's been a good weekend. Yesterday I got a manicure and pedicure. Toes are a deep turquoise. Fingers are red with sparkles.
We went to Tanglewood to see A Prairie Home Companion. It was really fun. Brought back a lot of memories listening to the show on NPR. Before that we had a picnic on the grounds. We had chicken cutlet sandwiches with prosciuto, red peppers, and pesto, chips and chocolate chip cookies.
Today I went to breakfast with a friend and had a Korned beef has omelet with rye toast. Then we took a ride and went to a bakery and got pastries: strawberry rhubarb pinwheels, raspverry squares and maple glazed sugar cookies. We have sweets for a little while now.
Good Saturday morning! We're in for a hot day today and only getting hotter as the weekend progresses. It should be a fun weekend. I have a manicure and pedicure today and then we are going to Tanglewood tonight to see A Prairie Home Companion. We were faithful listeners when it was on NPR so it'll be fun to revisit. Tomorrow I'm going to breakfast with a friend and latr Bruno and I plan to go to Applebees for dinner.
I had ablackberry sour ale. It wasn't as good as the mango one I had the last time I wasss at Bright Ideas but it still was pretty yummy.
Just got home from playing trivia at Bright Ideas, our local brew pub. Our team came in fourth. Not too bad. It was lots of fun.
Good morning! I know I've been quiet but I have had a couple of busy work days with a lot of computer time so I wasn't here too much. I'm working remotely today which is lovely. And a day off tomorrow. The rain is supposed to stop around 9 this morning and then it's supposed to get up to the high 80s. I think I'll be going to our local brew pub to play trivia with a work friend so that should be fun!
Yesterday was a music filled day. Bruno and I went to a Juneteenth/black music month celebration concert at the college where I work. There were 4 bands and it was terrific. One of our favorite bands, Misty Blues, played. They have been nominated for a grammy, have received other awards. Many of the band members are from this area. It was a lot of fun.
Last night we went to see Steve Earl, one of my absolute favorite Americana artists. It was an acoustic solo show where he told lots of stories about his life and of course played favorites. So much fun!
