Today is National Autonomous Vehicle Day!

Autonomous vehicles continue to expand mobility and independence for people who are blind or have low vision, and ACB has worked with private industry and government agencies to help ensure this technology is accessible and inclusive for all.

Thank you to our industry partners and transportation policymakers for your commitment to accessibility—ACB looks forward to continuing our work together to drive a more inclusive future!

What a week in Columbus! The ACB team had an incredible experience at the 2026 VisionServe Alliance and Envision Conference, where leaders, service providers, researchers, advocates, and vision rehabilitation professionals from across the country gathered to learn and collaborate. The conference provided valuable opportunities to share information about ACB's advocacy work and programs while connecting with partners who are advancing opportunities for people who are blind or have low vision.
Registration for the 2026 ACB Conference and Convention is OPEN for ACB members! Registration for non-members will open next week on June 4. For more details, including a list of sessions, visit our convention website at https://acbconvention.org.
