FYI here in the Maryland suburbs of DC spring is already getting underway.

Why do they make garlic keepers that are too small to get a typical head of garlic into?

This raptor was on the roof ledge of a building on Montgomery Ave. in Bethesda, MD, this morning. I didn’t have binoculars or a zoom lens, just my phone, and this is the best I could do. I can’t even come close to making a positive ID and there are several more common candidates, but this would be a great place for a Peregrine Falcon to perch. #birding
