Embedded-systems-adjacent jack of all tiers, left-swerving but not as active as I should be (wip). Born in the late 20th century, at 350 ppm.

Chronic dabbler. I have many more instruments than I can play well, more knitting needles than finished pieces, and more plants than my brain can care for.

Somewere in the Bermuda triangle of non-binary, agender, and genderfluid, but mostly look like a guy with long hair and occasionally nail polish.

Pokopia's lost enough of its shine that I broke free and managed to catch up on weeks of housekeeping. I'd love to have a way to regulate my bad habits that isn't "stop completely", but I guess I'll uninstall it now.

But also (small Pokopia spoiler ahead)

It's spreading out more now, which is fine-ish but might work out poorly in the long run. Annoyingly I have a very good tall pot for it that would prevent this, but nowhere to put it that gets enough light.
Turns out I potted this before I learned LECA/"hygrokorrels" is potentially worse than useless, which neatly explains why it toppled over when I watered it: those things float.

I'm not even repotting because of this! Half the plant died a while ago and it's been growing more and more unbalanced, and yesterday it fell over as I watered it.

... given the state of the root system I may have to get a bigger pot, though, since it might not *fit* in this one without chopping it up.

some nice instant ramen for lunch

Yes.

Got a set of test prints from our next printer option!

My #Wikipedia request for comment just closed, finally banning #AI content in articles! "The use of LLMs to generate or rewrite article content is prohibited"

Kudos to all who participated in writing the guideline (especially Kowal2701) and the whole WikiProject AI Cleanup team, this was very much a group effort!

The complete lack of stopping points makes Pokopia worse (as in "resulting in bad behaviour", not "bad game") for me than Stardew, I think? "Alright, let's get this build started and then quit" results in a dozen other tasks as they occur to me on the way, and there's never a hard cut.
