@caseyliss @marcoarment @siracusa I have an opportunity to buy a Mac Studio with an M1 Max (10-core CPU, 32-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine, 64 GB RAM). I don’t do any heavy lifting in terms of photo/video editing but I do want to dabble in LLMs. Assuming the price is right, what are your thoughts on buying this machine, 4 years after its debut?

@siracusa Thanks for the reply John. A very cursory Google search suggests that the M1 Max is still competitive due to its decent memory bandwidth. Obviously this is model-dependant.
@caseyliss @marcoarment @siracusa #askatp There’s been a lot of conversation happening around what iPadOS is vs. what people think it should be. One would assume a large data point in Apple’s decision-making regarding this platform is the analytics data it collects that users opt into when first setting up an iPad and Apple ID demographic data. What data do you think Apple collects via these two methods? How do you think these factored into making iPadOS what it is today?

I never partake in the endless "you are overpaying when buying an Apple product" conversations, but I appreciate that you've put together a delightfully concise and articulate response to that conversation. It is nice owning nice things and this is especially so when it's something that is so important to you and something that you use more than most other products in your life.

Channeling my inner Marco, I’d happily throw money to this “problem”. I’d gladly pay 2x or even more per month if I’m given an option to pay my own suggested amount for membership. No additional content or perks needed as I’m a big fan of the show as it existed pre-membership perks. Keep up the fantastic work!
