"Hard to overstate what a remarkable statement this is from a Republican senator — even a retiring one — accusing thte Trump White House of weaponizing DOJ to control the Fed:

'It is now the independence and credibility of the Department of Justice that are in question.' "

Before somebody comes and replies about how the population •should• be violent: please note that the way the public is responding is a carefully calibrated strategy.

Judge after judge is striking down National Guard deployments. The Trump regime is •desperate• at this point for some kind of violent escalation to justify domestic military deployment. We’re not giving it to them. We’re just doing what we do: taking care of each other, showing by example how to be human in the face of inhumanity.
