Before somebody comes and replies about how the population •should• be violent: please note that the way the public is responding is a carefully calibrated strategy.

Judge after judge is striking down National Guard deployments. The Trump regime is •desperate• at this point for some kind of violent escalation to justify domestic military deployment. We’re not giving it to them. We’re just doing what we do: taking care of each other, showing by example how to be human in the face of inhumanity.

Au contraire. I was most certainly figuring that out at the time, I guess i identified with other genres - mainly new wave. Boy George, Annie Lennox, and other gender benders helped me out. Paved the way for my parents acceptance as well. We all took different paths to discovering ourselves. Those were hard times to be figuring it out too.
