Question: “How [do you] respond to the argument that without viable alternatives, walking away from Facebook or social media more generally is a privilege?”

JL: "If you’re privileged enough to have the option of walking away from social media, and yet you don’t, you’re failing to use your privilege to defeat a system that traps other people who are less fortunate than you."

If you can quit social media, but don’t, then you’re part of the problem, Jaron Lanier says

"You’re not doing anything to free those who are more trapped. You’re only enslaving them more by entrenching the system."

Als ob es irgendein Problem irgendeiner Frau sein sollte, dass ein Mann in ihr Banane essen irgendwas Sexuelles interpretieren möchte. Ist auch gar nicht creepy, wenn sich die Beteiligten nicht kennen.

Wenn man ne systematische Verkehrswende durchführen würde, und Autos konsequent ensubventioniert (Firmenwägen, Abwrackprämie, Pendlerpauschale, Diesel-Subventionen...), ist ein bundesweiter Nulltarif + ÖPNV-Ausbau plötzlich spielend finanzierbar.

Das Problem bei der Umsetzbarkeit ist halt, dass diese Kosten im Bund gespart werden, während die Investitionen in den Kommunen anfallen, und die sich das deswegen idR nicht leisten können.
