I wasnt sure to even share this one. Its the sending off of a ship through the unknown, and the ship is dedicated to a woman (I didn't personally know) that was lost to suicide as a result of horrific transphobic abuse

For the first time in a long time, despite everything in #Florida turning into a dystopian hellscape, I find myself thinking about the future and making massive changes.
Moving out of Florida is definitely in the future.
Finding work will be an issue no matter where I go because of Florida's lack of portability of professional licenses.
Finding a place that's affordable and near a hospital to support mom is also going to be a burden.
Everywhere I've looked I've simply been unable to find an affordable place that balances the three.
And if I stay in Florida, sooner than later, the they'll come for us or I'll be gunned down by an angry racist.
somedays i wonder why I still exist. I don't think I was ever supposed to in the first place. Might make things better, I'm too damaged
