As an effective newbie – a recent returner to the #fediverse – I’m still trying out different iOS #apps to see which one suits me best

I used to use #Tootle, but it’s missing a few things

The #Mastodon app looks quite pretty, but it lacks core functionality

I also paid for #Mast , but it has significant bugs right now

At the moment, I’m switching back and forth between #Metatext and #Mercury , but leaning in favour of the former – except that I *hate* the high-contrast white-on-black 🤷‍♀️

Joanna Cherry, SNP MP for Edinburgh South West, has been making some mildly transphobic noises recently (as have a few other SNP politicians).

As her constituent, I’d quite like to go to her surgery on 17 May and talk to her face-to-face as a trans person. This is very scary for me, and I’d like support from other trans people or allies from the constituency if I’m going to do it.
