@twowheelsin.com That was the reason I started using it. I didn't want my non-supported machine back then to collect dust and what has led me to continue using Linux is the operating system itself. I just prefer the workflow i have developed for my own computing needs with Linux tools.

@itsfoss It's complicated in my opinion. I think there are plenty of justified reasons why something like this is wanted but I do think something like this can be expanded beyond its original intent. That's the best I can explain what my opinion is on this topic.
