I don't give a shit what Gavin Newsom's other policies are. Any candidate that specifically targets trans people in exchange for political clout is a nonstarter for Democratic federal office and we need to make that clear right the fuck now.

As of today there is no more "it's going to happen" - it has now happened, fully and completely. The US government has been taken over by ultranationalist authoritarians intent on ethnic cleansing. It’s enraging to watch corporate Democrats decry Trump’s concentration camps here in the United States while simultaneously funding Netanyahu’s concentration camp in Rafah.

They think either we don’t see their hypocrisy, or they know we see it and don’t care. Either way, it’s a good strategy to ensure MAGAs remain in power and further explains the 26% Dem Party approval rating. Smh

German here. We have this stuff in school, extensively. You're describing concentration camps. That is very close to the original german fascism. They didnt initially start with industrial extermination. One could argue that if profit from inmates is the motive, that may not come. But make no mistake. This is still fascism.
