Have you set the GrapheneOS port to operate as something other than a charger port as well?

Haha, brilliant.
@guffo I was joking. Partly about that, and partly that for every query with Linux comes a bunch of conflicting advice.
You don’t get that with macOS.
Well, as much…
The point is, every one is trying to be helpful, but it all boils down to this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXJKdh1KZ0w&

"Dog walkers can pick up dog backpacks containing seeds from staff members, with holes in each pack helping deposit the seed as the dog explores the environment..
As dogs are able to cover more ground than humans & can better reach harder to access areas, the wildflower seeds are spread more widely across the landscape & germination is likely to be more effective"

True, but they're more into large corporate's than general consumers.

Linux always had a reputation for being difficult to setup, not really compatible with 'daily driver' business apps and the shear number of distro/fork options.
Things are improving with time and people are becoming more aware.
Linux Mint, to me, is at the forefront of this increased awareness and OS adoption.
Microsoft and Apple's new 'Big Brother' approach to privacy is helping too.

Possibly, but I think it's actually a third option, but I can't remember it. It was definitely a choice during installation though.
"XGM3" or similar rings a bell.
The emphasis being on the 'upgrade' not the standalone OS.
