@NJDavidD I do like a projector still - big image, low cost. Direct view LED isn't the right choice for a lot of situations. I don't see projection ending any time soon unless we get a cool rollable OLED screen that can replace projection screens. #AVintheAM

@NJDavidD This was an interesting discussion on the commercial AV subreddit - the lines of commercial/pro are getting blurred by users who have money to spend but different needs and in that supply chains are not reliable, so we're dipping into prosumer world. #AVintheAM
@jacobyaudio you can manage alerts. I'm on a lot of servers, so I keep it tidy with mentions only.
Regular expressions. It lets you block words and all variations easily. It's tedious to write in, but effective.
@jacobyaudio I need to spend more time on here. I've been putting a lot of time in on the commercial AV discord... that getting pretty active.
Does Mastodon support any regex filtering? I've got a good script from Reddit that works well.

@jacobyaudio To be honest, she's a big reason why I'm the way I am in any case - she's pushed me to grow, educate, change, and get involved in social issues. Very lucky to be with someone like that, plus partnered in business.
@jacobyaudio I quit Twitter after transphobia was allowed to run rampant. I'm not going to be on a platform that spreads hate without even an attempt at stopping it. I can't boycott every company in existence, but I can at least take a stand when there's something this bad going on.
