If you want to know what a fascist takeover in the USA would look like, it would look like the Villages in FL but the entire suburbs and ex-urbs surrounding cities.

Without Urban Americas demand, rural america dies. Without rural America's supply, urban America dies.

So what happens when rural america doesn't die, it gets displaced because of climate? A permanent stalemate of liberal urban american surrounded by fascist exurbs. Dystopian and weird. It would be nonstop border skirmishes.

Texas people need to do absolutely everything in their power to prevent genocide of trans people. This is not a drill, a registry of the most despised minority group in America is not going to end well.

These are not even hiding the fact that they are fascists who want queer people fucking dead and murdered. This is the most dangerous time in history for queer people, especially for trans women and drag queens. There have been over 200 attacks/protests/incidents surrounding drag shows this year alone, that's the most in our entire history as a country.

Talking to my friends who are transitioning or have transitioned is heartbreaking, no one knows what's in store and there is so much fear which was nowhere near this level prior to the election of rapist war criminal fascist Donald J Trump. Many passing trans women led quiet, unassuming existences before. But now every clown ass conservative obsessed with "groomers" who has the worst possible gaydar imaginable, are trying to clock people as trans. Tjacketing is worse than ever, and cis people are getting caught up in this hatred. First they came for the trans women, then they came for the butch among us. Fascism doesn't discern.
