@StevenBeschloss I would encourage you not to use the phrase “normal person” or “paying attention”. Those are charged with condescension. We are all “normal” people paying attention. But we must learn to sit with the hate we feel (each of us, about anything), allow for a dialogue with it to determine its root, and then assuage it with reasonable, constructive work toward addressing this root. And to show others how.
