Paolo RedaelliThis cover of FM Towns #ZakMcKracken still bugs me. We got Fujitsu to put more clothes on Annie Larris, but they wouldn't change the damsel in distress/fawning pose. I made sure to make all the women in Zak to be self-sufficient, strong, smart, problem-solving, and this totally went against that.

Meet David and Peapod, an upgrade to my Zak McKracken cosplay. They’re my first posable, semi-realistic animal art doll. They’re slightly bigger than real squirrels and made completely from scratch. This project took me nearly 100 crafting hours.
By now I’ve grown very fond of these guys, even if they look like they’re more than ready to murder anyone who gets between them and some peanuts. They’ve made sure that my Zak costume will get some more convention time this year.
