This is a rotting paper mache anatomical model of a horse from the 1700s I saw in an an armory in Ohio that was being used as an antique market.
I've got my new table in. It is a 1946 Brunswick Anniversary oversized 8. Loving it so far and looking forward to lots of play time on it.
Saying farewell to my first personal pool table to make room for the next one. Between this table and the pandemic I went from bad at pool to better at pool than most people who don't have a pool table. Hoping the next one will take me up to "OK" at pool.
Starting a new tank that I planted today. This one is longer and less tall, and has lots of driftwood rising above the surface that I am attempting to grow orchids on. This one is primarily for dining entertainment :)
My first big walstad tank is maturing, before and after of about 5 weeks.
This is at the tail end of my kitchen dining booth, positioned to enjoy while sitting at it.
I am starting out a new tank and am trying to do moss dry-start (This involves making a kind of moss slurry and smearing it on what it is supposed to grow on and then keeping it very humid for a few weeks. The end result is a very thick growth of moss before the tank is flooded). I am hoping to attach orchids on the pieces of driftwood that rise above the tank. Wish me luck 🤞
My dining banquettes have finally arrived. I've been waiting on these for two months 😄

I got some of these (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tylomelania) aka "rabbit" or "elephant" snails, and they are super cool and cute.
