I play games

I don't think I'd ever confuse a game for an energy drink.

Monster Energy Keeps Pushing Devs To Change Their Game Titles

The Coca-Cola-owned company says games that use the word “monster” look too similar to its brand

Playing Stray on PS5... My cat approves.
I used to be into horror games, but over the last decade or so I just can't get into them. I've started playing them again while my wife and oldest son watch, it's like a movie that we can all enjoy now. Can anyone guess which game this is from?
I don't think I shared this over here yet. My partner died (Frank), and I'm having to give up almost all my babies--cats and dogs--because eventually his brother will have me evicted. If you think you have somewhere for me to live on Long Island, please let me know. Anyway, I got this tattoo the other day... yeah, I know it cost money I don't have. But it's permanent, and I never want to forget the lovely family I had.
One of my favorite bits ever. I almost died.

I know I posted about primarily a Switch gamer. I do have a gaming PC though. I'm running a Ryzen 5 2600 and an RX 6600. Just got my new corner set up, thought I'd share.
Happy New Year!
Just chilling with the family with a nice hot cup of tea.

My latest for WIRED: The Mastodon features Elon Musk should steal but won't because he hates you

Mastodon Features That Twitter Should Steal (but Won’t)

Elon Musk's platform could learn a thing or two from its most popular alternative—like how to build a social platform people actually want to be on.

While I do agree with the article, there are some really good looking and running switch games. I'm currently playing Monster Hunter Rise and Diablo 3 and both run and look great. An updated Switch would benefit Nintendo and their customers as we wouldn't have to suffer shitty ports (I'm looking at you Alan Wake) of games designed for beefier hardware. With that being said Pokemon's issue isn't the hardware... It's a rushed release and poor optimization.

Fails of 2022: the Nintendo Switch really showed its age

In 2022, it’s tough to accept the Nintendo Switch’s rough performance. Despite being home to some amazing games, the hardware’s current state can’t do many of them the justice that they deserve.
