Is it just me who finds the new Event Horizon Telescope picture problematic in its presentation? A passing observer might think the lines are somehow orbits of things suggesting a much much higher resolution of the picture than there actually is. It's still a very blurry blob, too blurry to measure any details of the geometry. Let alone possible deviations from classical GR as some authors try.
