This is absolutely bullshit.
No one is “engaged” on FB and Instagram. We spend our time frantically scrolling through bullshit to find our friends. That’s not engagement. It’s wasting my fucking time.
Chronologically, I check in on friends and go about my day, because my life is not centered around social media.

Um. The player is not the faction. These are gifts to PLAYERS.
If you are A with wolf mounts or H with usable horse/nightsaber mounts this is no different.

Time Rifts have introduced several new mounts. Two of these mounts, the White War Wolf and Black Gryphon, are faction-specific - but with special gift items, players can receive these mounts as a present from members of the opposite faction!

Also, every time I play my book wizard in D&D I get this urge to dip back in to FFXIV, now that I can use NPCs to get through the blocker dungeons (I do NOT pug). I want my FFXIV book wizard.
At least until Blizzard makes a book wizard. And there had better be a Night Elf option.
I am coming to the conclusion that being “incomplete” is OK. Blizzard is pumping out a ton of content. I don’t have to do all of it. I can choose what I want to do, and what will have to wait
Blizzard’s goal isn’t everything for everyone now, but something for someone, some time.
