Here is my latest image from last night! The great Orion Nebula (m42)

It sits at a distance of about 1400 light years from Earth, and is a great stellar nursery. Stars are born here!!

Taken with my 200mm newt at f3.8. This is only 39 minutes total exposure time 🤯

The Western Veil nebula, aka the witches broom 🙂 part of a supernova remnant in the constellation of cygnus.

So this image is actually a combination of data from two different telescopes of mine. The Altair 115 triplet and the Altair 200mm newt

Image is 20x240s on the 115 triplet with dual band filter taken back in July, combined with 55x 180s with the 200mm newt (now at f3.8..thank you nexus) taken last night 😄also with the dual band filter .

Adding this little chunk to my imaging train! Let’s take the beer down to f3.8! 🙂 #astrophotography
Good evening everyone! Here’s the wizard nebula! This nebula is about 8500 light years from earth in the Perseus arm of the Milky Way galaxy!
The cluster of stars itself spans around 20 light years and has an estimated age of 4-11.9 million years. #space is very cool

Good evening everyone! Todays throwback image is my first deep sky pic that I took with big bucket! I actually think this looks like a xenomorph! 👽️
This is the eastern veil nebula, part of a supernova remnant in the constellation of Cygnus! The source star was at least 20x more massive than our sun and explode 10k-20k years ago! At the time of the explosion it would have been brighter in the sky than Venus and also visible in daytime!

A beauty in the sky!🔥🔭

This is the famous Orion Nebula, an amazingly bright and complex cloud of dust and gas, located - you guessed it - in the constellation Orion. It's location can easily be seen by the naked eye, the sword of Orion. Taken with a camera and telescope last winter.

Telescope: Tecnosky AG70
Camera: ZWO ASi 294 Mc Pro

Good afternoon everyone! This is an image I captured of the Sadr region. Now I remember this night, I had a few gremlins and so my integration time was quite low. Believe it not total time for this image was 12 mins!!!
This was another big bucket special paired with the Altair dual band filter and hypercam 26C

This is one of my favourite Moon shots I took from a couple of years ago with my back yard rig. Not sure if it’s the orientation or the phase or the colour but I always come back to it 😊 #astrodon #astrophotography #space #Moon #astronomy
Morning everyone! Here’s another #space #picture for you all! This one is the Cygnus wall, it’s a part of the recognisable North America Nebula . It is an area of star formation which is about 20 light years long! I used a Dual band narrowband filter to cut through the Birmingham light pollution and moonlight to capture this shot
Scope was my 200mm f/5 Altair newt aka big bucket! Camera was the awesome Altair hypercam 26C

Good morning ! This nebula is Melotte 15. It’s known as the heart nebula and is located in the constellation of Cassiopeia at a distance of around 7500 light years from Earth! I used BB to capture this from my garden. Look at all that gassy dusty goodness 🤩 #astrophotography #Astrodon #astronomy #space
