Nah, mate, Twitter ain't dead, it's just resting...

I appreciate everyone following me here, and I apologize if I haven't done the civilized thing and followed back yet. I expect I will in most cases, over time and as I get the feel of the place, but for now, I'm just trying to keep my head above water in linking with my Twitter mutuals, helping folks to lifeboats if I can, and to keep on tweeting until I can't anymore.

I understand that search on Mastodon was intentionally architected to de-globalize and de-escalate toxicity amplification (https://midrange.tedium.co/issues/how-mastodon-search-works/), but I don't think it'll work for news.

#Metatext is snazzier than the main iOS app, but nigh on unusable until they fix this persistent glitch it throws up to half the times I try to open it.
