Eugen RochkoMy dream for Mastodon is for it to be a viable choice as a publishing platform for any creator. In other words, for people to not feel like they're locked in to Twitter or Instagram if they want to be professionally successful.
@x So, TIL about Pleroma! Could I ask where you are hosting your instance? Prefer hosted versions but the ones here https://pleroma.social/#featured-instances seem heavily customized and are not to my taste.

@celia Standard Notes has a 5 years plan as well, which is cheap in comparison. You may also try sending a mail to their customer support team, asking if they offer PPP.
@x @celia I must check out Oracle! I have a Raspberry Pi with pihole at home, and a Raspberry Pi on Google Cloud's f1-micro, free tier of 720 hours each month. All devices are interconnected using Tailscale, and they make use of these piholes for DNS. Been wanting to setup a third pihole online for redundancy, guess Oracle will be my choice.
