In childhood is where we find the purest form of joy. Those carefree moments spent with friends, exploring the world with boundless imagination and endless laughter. In this artwork, I wanted to celebrate those simple, yet profoundly beautiful times when puddles were oceans, and every day was an adventure. I hope you cherish these memories and hold onto the magic of your inner child.
Made in Clip Studio Paint. Watch the process on my YouTube: https://youtu.be/mDB2RpR4j1U.
In the next sequence of the illustrated story, Atupele delves learns that the key was forged by the earliest Yaos, who were skilled iron smiths and keepers of a forgotten spiritual tradition. This discovery captivates her, and she becomes obsessed with sharing.
Her parents, however, know this all too well, and know the attitudes of the contemporary society towards these traditions. They also know this marks a turning point in our little girl. Eventually, she will set out to find... the portal.
Trying out Clip Studio Paint for the first time. Not bad for a beginner lol. Having used Photoshop for nearly 15 years, this feels like learning how to walk all over again. But I'll get there.
