@Xipher @pinball I may look at getting B2 storage set up soon. How soon depends on how quickly local storage gets annoying. I'll monitor things. :)
@Manikobunneh @pinball @Xipher Yeah, the local timeline is pretty neat, and the "Explore" tab is actually useful on larger Mastodon instances, too!
@pinball @Xipher Assuming I stick with it, advice will be useful. I may invite a few more users, I don't know. (Depends on load; this is a fairly low end Digital Ocean droplet.)
Lesson learned: when importing a follower list to a new Mastodon account, it lets everyone know you just followed them, which—I was not expecting. I am not 100% sure I am moving because it is a fair amount of effort (not to mention an ongoing hosting charge!) to run your own Mastodon server. But, maybe a small invitation-only one is a reasonable idea…? #noxp
So it *looks* like Meow is recovering. Hi again. Still considering putting up my own Mastodon server, but there are definite advantages to being on one with a lot of active users, as long as it's, you know, operating. :)

@micro_cat Well, the honest truth is because I was using Ulysses long before I'd even heard of Obsidian. :) Ulysses also seems to have gone more explicitly after former Scrivener users, which I am.
