Very fun. Seems way easier than last time I played it. So far my only hiccup was a high level orc war chief who killed me twice. There was also an annoying troll who kept regenerating his health on the brink of death.

The most recent Predator short story anthology I read featured a Predator hunting union & confederate soldiers on the eve of Chancellorsville (including general stonewall Jackson on a recon mission). Otoh, somewhat romanticized & sympathetic portrayal of Jackson. OTOH, he still gets killed by his own men, the Predator kills all his confederate bodyguards, & Union soldiers explode the Predator’s head with a cannon shot.

Read a Predator short story set in the Vietnam War with a Predator stalking & hunting a group of us special forces & a group of viet cong. The Americans are retreating to their chopper extraction point. The Predator gets drawn into a battle with them & the viet cong. It kills the viet cong, gets wounded, one of the americans aims an M79 grenade launcher & is about to kill it. the other survivor stops him- look, it’s our chopper! So the Predator gets away, kills them both. lol so fucking stupid
