Okay 10/10, five stars, would recommend the Helly Hansen sailing bib pant for all your mucky archaeology needs (and not just because I got them at a discount). Hopefully they also hold up to long-term wear, but I remained completely dry and comfy all day in these.
Pulling a favourite photo from my files by way of introduction. Here is an in-progress shot of our public excavations at the Albion Mines Foundry (1827) in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. The casting sand floor with its scorching patterns has been my all-time favourite thing to excavate.
