@steve hoping for a buzzfeed personality quiz that tells me which zero i am
@coffeegeek any recommendations for a travel pourover or immersion setup? i bought a cafflano klassic a few years back and while it works and is a tidy package, i sort of hate it - open hopper, slow small pourover cone. is there anything integrated you recommend? separate grinder and aero press? have your tried anything from vssl? thanks.
@nnnnnnnn if you follow a show in Podcasts, you’ll have the option to change its settings in the … menu to tweak sort order and whether to show/hide played episodes. you can also make “stations” (which are Podcast’s take on playlists) which let you pick and choose shows, groupings, and ordering.

@dave_andersen @bentsai FWIW i believe there are IRA funds/credits for schools to install heat pumps. i’m not sure if PPS has anyone working on that piece given everything else they have going on.
@justkwin yeah, there is a limit but for future reference if you select a column (or any other selection of cells) with individual cell values and convert to a pop-up, it will union the set of values.

@rmondello my wife has gone on this journey.

one key bit is that while there much to despair about, there is still a lot of opportunity to improve outcomes. obviously there are a lot of NP-hard (National Politics) problems but there are also a lot of local opportunities e.g. getting heat pumps for schools and electric garbage trucks.

i second the recommendation for @kathhayhoe

she is a believer in raising awareness and engaging in activism to build political will to counter fossil fuel power

@b0rk there is something particularly juvenile about people assuming there is one particular order or traversal for how people should learn things – that if someone else doesn’t know a particular bit they are BEHIND or BELOW or BASIC.

it’s NORMAL that we all encounter the staggering diversity of technical details at different times and stages and it doesn’t mean something fundamental about your place in the hiearchy.
