@rmondello my wife has gone on this journey.
one key bit is that while there much to despair about, there is still a lot of opportunity to improve outcomes. obviously there are a lot of NP-hard (National Politics) problems but there are also a lot of local opportunities e.g. getting heat pumps for schools and electric garbage trucks.

she is a believer in raising awareness and engaging in activism to build political will to counter fossil fuel power
@b0rk there is something particularly juvenile about people assuming there is one particular order or traversal for how people should learn things – that if someone else doesn’t know a particular bit they are BEHIND or BELOW or BASIC.
it’s NORMAL that we all encounter the staggering diversity of technical details at different times and stages and it doesn’t mean something fundamental about your place in the hiearchy.
