September was the first month I started actually tracking my weight every day with a Withings smart scale.
I have to say having a graph with dots on it has gotten my gamer-brain churning so hard with this process. Having that feedback signal.
I wish it made slot machine noises.
Started the day down to 260 for the first time in an embarrassingly long time.
Still a long way to go, but I can't tell you how great it is to actually experience 'being able to kind of fix this'.
Did the Personal Top 25 Games (in no particular order) thing I've seen a couple other devs do.
Tried to balance things a bit by genre and age to have the best representation of impact to me and sheer joy over the past 25 years of my life.
Curious if any of these are a surprise to peeps.

Take a lesson from the past 7 years of VR. Abstention/boycott based politics in software is laughably ineffectual.
A substantial enough # of people with money don't care.
On one hand, a bunch of the industry is saying they can't trust a bunch of lying manipulative psychos with their engine choice now and need to switch.
On the other, the entire VR industry decided a bunch of lying manipulative psychos were fine to be in charge of everything.
I keep getting asked if I'm going to port H3 to Godot, or switch engines or whatever.
Let me ask you this back.
