*Grabbed the game
*Installed it in an emulator
*Saved out the memory
*Disassembled it
*trawled the memory for the suspect code...
*...fired up the core to see what was happening.

want to guess how that went?

Maybe I should've started with the last step, then i would've realised that there was absolutely nothing wrong and then grabbed a cup of tea and carried on with my life...
