I don’t know about Latin, but I is trying very hard to teach Mama to speak Lapine; you would think after 35 years of being a rabbit mama she would be able to a least hold a basic conversation! But apparently she really is as dumb as she looks 🤷

Mama is 1/4 Irish (her father’s mother) & 1/4 German (her father’s father), and learned both languages at her father’s urging. But while she can read & write well in both, she is not good at speaking/hearing Irish due to lack of exposure to any speakers here. [She is also fluent in French; can read Italian at a basic level, and used to be able to speak & write in Russian & Mandarin, but has pretty much totally lost the latter 2 as she hasn’t used them at all in over 30 years]
